Sometimes a tooth is beyond repair and may need to be removed. Some common types of oral surgery our dentists perform at our office are extraction of teeth, extraction of impacted wisdom teeth and gum grafts. Many of these procedures are very minor and patients heal with minimal complications. We are able to make our patients as comfortable as possible by offering nitrous oxide which people refer to as "laughing gas". Moderate sedation is something we are able to provide to patients in addition to nitrous oxide.
